Meet Our Family

I’m Amanda and my husband is James. We have three kids: Harper, Mia Belle, and Declan. We live in Rockton, IL and we love our small town! The kids love riding their bikes, gymnastics, boat rides with their Mimi and Grandpa, and horse lessons with their Aunt Abby. My parents have been raising puppies since I was little; I grew up with a house full of dogs of all kinds. Eventually they got the “doodle bug” and have been raising doodles for the last 20+ years. We got our labradoodle, Lady, from them and since then we’ve added Tootsie (cocker spaniel), Wiggles (cocker spaniel), Molly (cavapoo) and Dakota (Bernese Mt. dog) to our crazy bunch.I became a started puppy trainer 6 years ago. My family and I really enjoy training puppies and my kids especially love having them here to play with. We also love being able to provide guardianship homes for some pregnant/nursing dog mamas and their babies. Eventually I started to have my own litters and I love that my kids are growing up with the same experiences I had in my childhood! I truly feel like having animals to help take care of teaches kids responsibility and invaluable life lessons. The bond they have with our dogs is incredible to witness and I love being able to provide families with a furry family member of their own! I know how important it is to trust where you’re getting your puppy from and I want you to feel confident that your puppy had the best start that will shape the rest of his or her life.
